The Executive Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Area(LGA), Hon. Echezona Anazodo, popularly known as EcheHome, has flagged off the construction of a major internal access road at Agbọ Edo New Motor Spare Parts Market, Nnewi, marking another phase in efforts to improve infrastructure within the commercial hub.
The road project forms part of the ongoing urban renewal initiative at the market, which serves traders and buyers in the automobile spare parts business.
It follows the earlier commencement of drainage construction, culvert installation and the development of commercial plazas aimed at improving the market’s infrastructure and business environment.
When completed, the access road is expected to ease the movement of vehicles and goods, improve accessibility for traders and customers, helping reduce traffic congestion within the market.
The project is expected to support commercial activities by providing a more organised environment for traders, transporters and buyers who visit the market for business.
The road construction represents a further step in the Nnewi North Local Government’s efforts to upgrade market infrastructure and improve conditions for commercial activities in the area.
