The newly appointed Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure Anambra State, Arc. Okey Ezeobi has officially assumed duty as the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Awka
The Commissioner who came in company of his predicessor, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma was welcomed amid joy and excitement by the management and staff of the Ministry.
Arc. Ezeobi urged staff to contribute to a positive and productive team culture as they carried out their duties even as he promised improved welfare of staff.
Addressing the staff, the former Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma said “I want each and every staff member to cooperate with the new Commissioner so that the work of the Ministry can continue seamlessly. You have been cooperating with me; I expect that this same level of collaboration and understanding will be extended to Arc. Ezeobi”
On his part, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Engr. Martin Agbili congratulated the Commissioner on his appointment and assured the staff’s readiness to work with him assiduously to achieve the Ministry’s mandate.
He expressed the love the Staff have for the outgoing Commissioner, saying he will always be cherished for having the interest and welfare of staff at heart.
