Parish Priest, St Paul’s Catholic Church, Akpo, Rev Fr Cyriacus Ubah has called on Nigerians to remain resolute surviving economic crunch ravaging the country.
He said this while admonishing congregation shortly after special Mass to commemorate All Saints Day, at the Church in Aguata Local Government Area, on November 1.
“We cannot deny the fact that Nigeria is passing through acute economic difficulties around the globe before now. Even when there were casualties, there were survivals too. The magic is about one’s mindset. Set your mind towards surviving, eschew shortcuts, criminal tendencies, but work hard positively, God shall complement your efforts”, he said.
Fr Ubah enjoined Nigerians not to poison their fellow Nigerians by using bad chemicals to ripening fruits, adulterate food and drinks at the detriment of people’s health.
“These actions tantamount to wickedness, attracting God’s wrath”, he added.
He said that Nigerians need to get their permanent voter card (PVC), ready, make a date with 16th January and 6th February, 2027.
