The Chancellor of Uniniger, Umunya, Rt. Rev. Dr. Owen Chiedozie Nwokolo, has underscored the significance of structure, discipline, and faith as the foundation for a successful and impactful life.
Delivering a lecture, Bishop Nwokolo characterised life as a structured journey, observing that success is not a matter of chance but “a ladder ascended by seizing opportunities with the right values.”
He identified honesty, contentment, integrity, discipline, responsibility, and sound faith as indispensable virtues that guide individuals toward meaningful achievement.

The cleric delineated eight progressive stages of personal growth: self-discovery, knowledge acquisition, skills development, discipline and good habits, productivity, influence and leadership, courage, and responsibility. According to him, each stage is contingent upon the preceding one, collectively forming a pathway to both personal fulfillment and societal impact.
He urged students and participants to adopt structured routines and cultivate valuable networks capable of enhancing growth and opportunities.

He further highlighted the spiritual dimension of life, describing the Church as an “ark” with the singular purpose of salvation through grace.

The lecture, which attracted students and members of the academic community, underscored the nexus between personal development and spiritual awareness, concluding with a call for purposeful and responsible living in both domains.
