The Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Nkem Udeze, has invited residents of Ogbaru Local Government Area(LGA), political stakeholders, associates, friends and well-wishers to a special Thanksgiving Mass to mark his third anniversary in office.
The invitation was conveyed in a press statement issued by the Speaker’s Special Adviser on News Media, Mr. Franklin Osankwa, and made it available to journalists on June 10.
According to the statement, the thanksgiving service is scheduled to hold on Sunday, June 14, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, Iyiowa, Ogbaru LGA, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The event, the statement noted, is intended to offer gratitude to God Almighty for His grace, wisdom, protection and guidance throughout the speaker’s three years of legislative leadership and service to the people of Anambra State.
It further stated that the occasion will bring together family members, constituents, political associates, friends and members of the public in a collective celebration of God’s faithfulness and blessings over the years.
Since assuming office in June 2023, Rt. Hon. Udeze has presided over the affairs of the State Assembly, providing leadership in legislative activities, supporting initiatives aimed at promoting good governance and democratic representation in Anambra State.
