The Mayor of Idemili South, Hon. Mrs. Amaka Obi, on June 9, pronounced that the project, which was flagged off barely one month ago, has reached its final stage.
She stated that asphalt laying, road markings, and beautification works are expected to be completed within the next few days.
According to the Mayor, the rapid execution of the project reflects her administration’s commitment to delivering quality infrastructure and accelerating development across communities within the council area.

Hon. Obi noted that the Ogbo-Efi Ring Road is part of a broader infrastructure renewal programme aimed at transforming Idemili South through projects that support economic growth, improve connectivity, and create a more conducive environment for residents and businesses.
She further emphasized that her administration remains committed to laying a solid foundation for sustainable development by investing in projects that will continue to serve the people for years to come.
Reaffirming her commitment to the progress of the local government, the Mayor assured residents that more people oriented projects would be delivered as part of efforts to ensure balanced development and lasting impact across Idemili South.
