Members of the Soludo Women’s Movement have paid a congratulatory visit to the Secretary to the Anambra State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, following her appointment by the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
During the visit to the SSG’s office on June 24, the women expressed appreciation to Governor Soludo for entrusting a woman with one of the most strategic positions in the state administration, describing Mrs. Nnake’s appointment as a reflection of the governor’s commitment to merit, inclusiveness and youth empowerment.
The group noted that Mrs. Nnake is the youngest person to occupy the office of Secretary to the State Government in Anambra State, describing the achievement as a source of inspiration to women and young people across the state.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the National Secretary of Soludo Women’s Movement International, Dr. Eucharia Oshia, congratulated Mrs. Nnake on her appointment, commending her dedication, hard work and outstanding contributions to public service.
As a mark of recognition, the group presented the SSG with an Award of Excellence in appreciation of her exemplary leadership, professional accomplishments and commitment to service.
Dr. Oshia said that the honour was also intended to celebrate Mrs. Nnake’s positive influence on women and youths, whom she described as beneficiaries of her inspiring leadership and achievements.
The women pledged their continued support for the administration of Governor Soludo, reaffirming their commitment to advancing the administration’s vision of a prosperous, progressive, and inclusive Anambra State.
Responding, Mrs. Nnake expressed gratitude to the Soludo Women’s Movement for the honour and recognition bestowed on her.
She thanked Governor Soludo for the confidence reposed in her, pledging to remain committed to supporting the administration’s developmental agenda through dedicated and efficient service to the people of the state.
The visit ended on a cordial note, with both parties reaffirming their shared commitment to the continued growth, development and advancement of Anambra State.
