The Renewed Hope Vocational and Skill Training programme is set to distribute starter packs to the beneficiaries of the programme in Anambra State.
This was contained in a letter from the office of the National Coordinator/Chief Executive, National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), signed by the National Programme Manager (N-Power), Mr Nsikak Okon.

The letter stated that the distribution is expected to start from August 10th and NSIPA has deployed designated officers to the State to monitor the distribution of the starter packs to beneficiaries and ensure the orderly conclusion of the programme activities in accordance with the approved implementation framework. This is to ensure transparency, accountability, proper documentation and compliance with approved operational guidelines.

Mr Okon commended the State Government for their continued commitment, dedication and cooperation towards successful implementation of the Renewed Hope VSTP, batch 1 assuring the state that a mechanism has been put in place to ensure that duly registered and genuine participants receive their starter packs and transport allowance.
“A mechanism has accordingly been put in place for the redistribution and reallocation of available tools across training centers, where necessary, to ensure that no eligible participant is unduly excluded.” The letter reads.
He also assured that all participants is entitled to a transport allowance to support transportation and participation during the two-week intensive refresher exercise.
