The Police Service Commission (PSC) and Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have scheduled the Written Examination for Police Constable recruits covering both General Duty and Specialist categories for April 28 to 30, 2026. The tests will occur at designated centers across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
According to an official statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the examination in Anambra State will be conducted at the Federal Government Technical College, Awka. He added that only candidates who successfully completed the preceding physical and credential screening exercise are eligible to participate.
The statement further indicated that eligible applicants are required to visit http://www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng from Friday, April 24, 2026, to print their Examination Invitation Card, which specifies the date, time, and venue of their examination. Items required on the examination day are as follows: A pen;
National Identification Number (NIN) slip issued by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), bearing a clear photograph; and a Printed Examination Invitation Card. While the dress code will be white shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas shoes.
The PSC stresses that the recruitment is free of charge, with severe legal action against job racketeers, scammers, or those demanding payments.
Anambra State Police Command, led by CP Ikioye Orutugu calls on qualified candidates to arrive early, follow guidelines, and maintain order at the venue.
