POLICE MOURN LATE AIG EZEOZUE, CELEBRATE HIS LEGACY OF DEDICATED SERVICE

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), through the Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji on August 27, joined senior police officers, family members, friends and other dignitaries to bid farewell to the late retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Emmanuel Ifeanyi Ezeozue, during his funeral ceremony held in Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
In a statement issued to journalists in Awka by the Anambra Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the commissioner described the deceased as a remarkable police officer and an accomplished public servant whose contributions to the Nigeria Police Force remained invaluable.

CP Oji Ama noted that the late AIG Ezeozue served the nation with dedication, professionalism and commitment, adding that his impact on policing and his sacrifices in the course of duty would continue to stand as part of his lasting legacy.
The commissioner condoled with the family of the deceased, as well as his friends, colleagues and associates, praying God Almighty to grant the departed officer eternal rest and give the bereaved family the courage and strength to bear the irreparable loss.

He also expressed appreciation to dignitaries, serving and retired police officers, and other well-wishers who attended the funeral, describing their presence as a reflection of the strong bond of unity, comradeship and solidarity within the Nigeria Police Force.
The Anambra State Police Command joined the Nigeria Police Force and the Ezeozue family in mourning the passing of the retired AIG while celebrating his distinguished career, sacrifices and enduring contributions to national service.
