The Deputy Mayor of Onitsha South Local Government Area, Hon. Obi Onyebuchi Charles, has extended warm felicitations to women and mothers across the community in celebration of Mothering Sunday.
In a goodwill message, Obi commended the role of mothers in shaping families and contributing to societal development, describing them as pillars of strength and stability.
He acknowledged their resilience, dedication, and nurturing influence, noting that their contributions remain central to the growth and unity of the community.
The deputy mayor also appreciated the sacrifices made by women in maintaining peace and fostering development in Onitsha South, emphasizing the need for continued recognition of their efforts.
He prayed for good health, happiness, and success for mothers, expressing hope that the occasion would bring them joy and fulfillment.
Obi, who is also an aspirant for the Anambra State House of Assembly representing Onitsha South Constituency II, reaffirmed his appreciation for the contributions of women to the progress of the area.
