Ward youth leaders under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Onitsha North Local Government Area have declared their support for the party’s chairmanship candidate, Hon. Ezennia Chukwuemelie Ibekwe, ahead of the forthcoming Local Government Election.
The youth leaders, representing various wards in the LGA, made the declaration during a courtesy visit to the candidate, confirming their readiness to mobilize support across the area to ensure victory for APGA.
Speaking during the visit, the youth representatives commended Ibekwe for his accessibility and commitment to youth inclusion, describing him as a candidate capable of delivering effective leadership at the grassroots level.
In his response, Ibekwe expressed appreciation for the endorsement, assuring commitment to a people-focused administration. He said his priorities would include youth empowerment, infrastructure development, and improved service delivery.
He also urged young people to remain peaceful and law-abiding throughout the election period.
The visit is seen as part of ongoing mobilization efforts by the party ahead of the local government polls.
