Residents of Onitsha South 1 Constituency have commended Hon. Sylvester Emeka Okafor, Chief Executive Officer of Siwo Network Paints and Table Water, for providing complimentary access to potable tap water to communities within the area.
The initiative, which addresses the challenge of access to clean water, has been described by residents as a practical intervention with direct impact on daily living conditions.
Members of the community observed that the effort reflects a proactive approach to leadership, underscoring Okafor’s understanding of grassroots needs and his emphasis on delivering measurable benefits.
A resident, speaking within the community, described the gesture as both timely and impactful, noting that it exemplifies leadership that prioritizes substantive solutions over mere assurances.
Several youths in the constituency also confirmed that they have benefited from the water supply for more than two years, describing it as a considerable relief to their families and households.
Stakeholders assert that the increasing support for Okafor reflects heightened attention to community-based interventions and service-oriented leadership within the constituency.
