The Deputy Mayor of Onitsha North Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs. Ijeoma Ejiagwa, has congratulated Hon. Eddy Ibuzo on his appointment as Anambra State Commissioner for Transport, describing it as a well-merited recognition of his competence, experience, and commitment to public service.
In an official statement, Hon. Ejiagwa expressed confidence that Hon. Ibuzo would spearhead meaningful reforms in the transport sector through innovative policies aimed at improving service delivery, strengthening road safety, and addressing the evolving needs of residents and commuters.
She noted that the appointment comes at a critical time when the sector requires urgent intervention in response to increasing public demand. According to her, Hon. Ibuzo’s expertise will be instrumental in advancing Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s vision for a modern and efficient statewide transport system.
“As you assume this responsibility, I pray for wisdom, strength, and notable achievements that will benefit Ndi Anambra,” she stated, while invoking divine guidance for a successful tenure.
The appointment has been widely applauded by political associates, stakeholders, and residents, who anticipate substantial improvements in transport administration under Hon. Ibuzo’s leadership.
