The students and staff of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, are set to benefit from improved campus access, as the Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Works and Infrastructure has conducted an oversight inspection of the ongoing internal road construction within the institution.
Leading the delegation, the Committee Chairman, Engr. Emma Nwafor, member representing Orumba South Local Government, emphasized the importance of timely delivery, urging contractors to expedite work while adhering strictly to quality standards. According to him, the completed roads will not only facilitate smoother movement within the college but also contribute significantly to creating a more conducive learning environment.

Engr. Nwafor noted that substantial progress has already been made, with earthworks completed and stone base layers laid in several sections. He reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to continuous oversight to ensure the project aligns with the state government’s broader infrastructure development agenda, particularly within educational institutions.
In his remarks, the project contractor, Engr. Katchy Adonu, reaffirmed the team’s readiness to deliver the roads within the agreed timeframe and in full compliance with the specified engineering standards.
The road project marks another step in the state’s efforts to modernize learning environment and improve institutional infrastructure across Anambra.
