An extensive array of medical equipment has been distributed for primary healthcare centres across Idemili south by Mayor Dr Mrs Amaka Obi.
Over 30 categories of essential medical equipment have been distributed to every healthcare facility in council area.
Speaking during the event, Dr Obi commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his efforts to boost healthcare in Idemili south and Anambra in general.
The distribution aims to make quality health accessible to all citizens.
Mayor Amaka Obi, reaffirmed her commitment to enhancing health care delivery in Idemili south, noting that November 8 is a day to appreciate Soludo for re-shaping the state into a new phase.
Dignitaries present at the event includes APGA chairman, Chief Kizito Anoliefo, Head of local Government Mr Oriji ,HOD Health, HOD Environment, PGs , NULGE Chairman and Women leaders and party executives.
Highlight of the event were distribution of medical Healthcare equipment by Mayor Obi to officers in-charge (OICs) of wards in primary healthcare.
