OGUGUA URGES ANAMBRA TEACHERS TO REGISTER FOR DIGITAL SKILLS TRAINING

By Obiageli Nwankwo

Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ekene Ogugua, has urged teachers across the state to register for the digital skills training scheduled to begin on Aug. 24.

Ogugua made the call in a video broadcast released by the Ministry of Education on Aug. 23, describing teachers as central to the state’s digital transformation agenda.

He said the training is designed to equip educators with relevant digital skills to prepare students for a rapidly changing world shaped by technology and artificial intelligence.

The commissioner urged teachers to take advantage of the opportunity, noting that digital competence could become an important requirement for teaching in the state in the future.
