Hon. Martin Obika has congratulated Hon. Edward Ibuzo on his appointment as the Commissioner for Transport in Anambra State, describing the development as a recognition of his leadership capacity and commitment to public service.
In a congratulatory message issued on Today, May 5, Obika commended the appointment by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, noting that it reflects confidence in Ibuzo’s ability to deliver on the responsibilities of the office.
“Your appointment is a clear validation of your track record in leadership and dedication to service. As a former lawmaker, you have consistently demonstrated integrity and vision in the discharge of your duties,” he said.
Obika expressed optimism that Ibuzo would leverage his experience to reposition the state’s transport sector, improve safety standards, and enhance road infrastructure for the benefit of residents.
He further noted that effective transport management remains critical to economic growth, adding that innovative policies and reforms under Ibuzo’s leadership would help facilitate smoother movement and boost commercial activities across the state.
While wishing him a successful tenure, Obika expressed confidence that the new commissioner would make meaningful contributions toward advancing the transport system and overall development of Anambra State.
