‎Staff of the Anambra State Ministry of Justice have commended the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Tobechukwu Nweke, for restoring a consistent electricity supply, a development that has markedly improved productivity and working conditions within the ministry.
‎
‎Under the present administration, the ministry’s offices now operate with a dependable power supply, enabling legal officers to discharge their duties without interruption. Barr. Nweke emphasised that fostering a conducive working environment remains a fundamental priority, noting that efficiency is directly tied to workplace standards.
‎
‎He recalled that, prior to the intervention, legal officers were often compelled to seek alternative spaces within the premises to prepare and print documents due to persistent power outages. This challenge has since been resolved, with officers now able to work effectively from their designated desks.
‎
‎The Attorney General further announced plans to deploy solar power systems across the ministry and its outstations statewide to guarantee a sustainable and uninterrupted energy supply.
‎
‎Also speaking, the Acting Director of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Barr. Don Adizua, commended the Attorney General for the swift revitalisation of the ministry and expressed optimism regarding further reforms.
‎
‎In his remarks, the Chairman of the Law Officers Association of Nigeria (LOAN), Awka Branch, Barr. Jerry Emebie, highlighted additional improvements, including the provision of standing fans to alleviate heat. “These measures have significantly enhanced both operational efficiency and staff morale”.
‎
‎While expressing gratitude to the Attorney General, the ministry’s staff urged the sustenance of these reforms and called for additional interventions to further strengthen the state’s justice sector.
