For years, Rev. Fr. Innocent Affusim has combined medical leadership with a commitment to serving people, a contribution now recognised with the 2026 Anambra Outstanding Medical Professional Service Award.
The Managing Director(MD)and Chief Executive(CEO) Officer of Regina Caeli Specialist Hospital, Awka, received the honour from the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council, on Sept. 10, during the council’s 35th Anniversary and 2026 Man of the Year Awards ceremony.
The award recognises his leadership, dedication to healthcare service and contributions to the wellbeing of the people.
The recognition was warmly received by the management and staff of Regina Caeli Specialist Hospital, who described it as a proud moment for the hospital community and an acknowledgement of Rev. Fr. Affusim’s commitment to service and excellence.
They congratulated him on the honour, expressing confidence that the recognition would inspire renewed commitment to improving healthcare delivery and making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.
