The Department of Early Childhood Care and Education, Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe (NOCEN), has celebrated its fourth set of graduating students following the successful defence of their research projects on Oct. 5.
The 11 graduating students demonstrated confidence, academic competence and a strong grasp of their research topics, reflecting the dedication and effort invested throughout their project work.
The Head of Department, Mrs. Joanna Dominion, commended the lecturers for their commitment and contributions to the academic development of the graduating students.
She urged the graduates to uphold the values of the college and serve as good ambassadors of the department wherever their careers take them.
The Dean, School of Early Childhood Care and Primary Education, Dr. Ifeoma Ochiogu, described the project defence as one of the best, commending the graduates for their resilience and commitment throughout their academic journey.
She encouraged them to take the knowledge, discipline and determination gained during their studies into the labour market, stressing the importance of applying their training to real-life challenges.
In their remarks, the graduates expressed appreciation to their lecturers for their guidance, encouragement and positive impact throughout their programme.
They pledged to uphold the reputation of the department and the College as they begin the next phase of their careers.
The project defence was coordinated by Ezeuzo Oliver-Michael Dunaluo, a lecturer in the Department of Early Childhood Care and Education.
