A prominent public spirited Nnobi community Personality, High Chief Emeka Ezeonu has distributed over 700 bags of rice to residents of Nnobi in Idemili South Local Government Area, as part of activities marking the Easter celebration.

The distribution, which took place on Thursday at Sahara Ikemba Idemili Centre, Ifite Nnobi, benefited hundreds of families. The gesture comes months after a similar outreach during the Christmas season, where over 500 families received support.

She also highlighted ongoing development efforts in the area, including road construction, provision of borehole water, and empowerment programmes, noting the role of Public Private Community Partnership (PPCP) in driving progress.

Also speaking, the APGA mayoral candidate for Idemili South, Hon. Oluchukwu Ilogbenu, described the initiative as timely support for residents, particularly in easing economic challenges.
The event was attended by the traditional ruler of Nnobi, Igwe Nick Obi, the President General of Nnobi, Chief Aloysius Olubialu, the Speaker of the Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Ernest Ezeunyim, as well as other stakeholders, councillors, and community leaders.
