The Southeast Zonal Chairman, Association of Senior Servants of Nigeria, Dr. Chika Dennis Muomaife is highly elated at Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s development breakthroughs in his first term in office.
In a public press statement in Awka on his expectations on the governor’s second term in office, Dr. Muomaife noted with joy that his first term touched all sectors of the economy in the three senatorial zones of the state.
The ASCSN boss listed some of his achievements to include the dualization of major trunk A roads in the state, namely the Amawbia- Agulu-Ekwulobia-Uga road, Agulu-Nnobi-Nnewi-Ozubulu-Okija road, Onitsha-33-Aguleri road, Ekwulobia-Isuofia-Igboukwu-Nnobi road among other roads linking communities in the state.
He expressed delight that under the governor’s watch, the citizenry can feel the impact of governance and a convivial atmosphere that promotes social enterprise, entrepreneurship and industrialization.
Dr. Muomaife further appreciated the governor’s workers/pensioners friendliness being exhibited in his prompt payment of their salaries, pensions and gratuities.
He assured workers in the state that the governor will not hesitate to implement an upward review of their salaries at the appropriate time in fulfillment of the constitutional provisions for the review of workers salaries after every three years.
On security, Dr. Muomaife confirmed with satisfaction that Governor Soludo has through the operation “Udo Ga-Achi’, reduced to the barest minimum, the activities of hoodlums, self acclaimed pseudo Igbo freedom fighters, miscreants and their likes in the state.
