The Chief Medical Director of Comprehensive Medical Centre Akwuzu, Dr Adaobi Odina has stressed the importance of seeking medical attention at approved health centers in case of health emergencies.

Dr. Odina, in an interview with information officer, emphasized that visiting approved health centers avails patients of proper care and treatment from qualified medical practitioners.

“Approved health centers have the necessary equipment, trained staff, and resources to handle emergencies effectively. In critical situations, every minute counts, and seeking care at an approved center can make a significant difference in outcomes.”

The expert call comes amid growing concerns about the proliferation of unapproved health facilities and quacks which has always put patients’ lives at risk.

Dr Odina described as heart breaking when patients are being rushed to the hospital as emergencies with conditions that would have primarily been managed without stress.

This quacks according to her give referrals only when they have milked the patients and sense danger and these patients are always dead on arrival.

Dr. Odina urged the public to prioritize their health and seek care at reputable, approved health centers, adding that early professional management helps in saving lifes.

She encouraged the public to take proactive steps in safeguarding their health by seeking medical attention at approved health facilities.
