The Acting Mayor of Anambra West Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs. Edith Nkeiru Ndive, has called for intensified mobilisation efforts following a low turnout in the ongoing registration exercise of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Ndive made the appeal on during a strategic meeting at Umueze Anam with Ward Chairmen and technical representatives from the 10 wards of the council. The meeting was aimed at evaluating the progress of the registration exercise and improving coordination at the grassroots level.
Expressing concern over the current pace of registration, Hon. Ndive noted that Anambra West has historically been a stronghold of APGA and should not experience such low participation, urging ward leaders and technical teams to step up efforts by engaging eligible members and expanding outreach across all communities in Anambra West LGA.

She further emphasized the need for urgency, commitment, and coordinated action, adding that increased dedication would significantly boost registration figures in the coming days.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by party stakeholders to ensure a more inclusive, credible, and successful registration process that accurately reflects the party’s strength in Anambra West.
Also in attendance were key party stakeholders, including the APGA Deputy State Chairman, Hon. Paul Uzor, alongside other party leaders.
