MAYOR NWORA SALUTES ARCHBISHOP OKEKE ON 44 YEARS OF PRIESTLY SERVICE

Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora, Mayor of Onitsha North Local Government Area, has extended warm congratulations to His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Maduka Okeke, Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of Onitsha Province, on the occasion of his 44th Priestly Ordination Anniversary.

Speaking on this landmark celebration, Mayor Nwora praised Archbishop Okeke’s steadfast commitment to faith and community over more than four decades. “Your Grace has been a beacon of wisdom, compassion, and integrity, guiding the faithful through spiritual and everyday challenges,” the mayor said.

He called on the Catholic community of Onitsha North to unite in gratitude and prayer, honouring the Archbishop’s tireless service and profound influence on both spiritual and social upliftment. 

“As we mark this special day, let us reflect on the countless lives you have touched and the unity you have fostered within our Archdiocese,” Mayor Nwora added.

The Mayor prayed for continued blessings on Archbishop Okeke’s ministry: “May the Lord grant you renewed strength and wisdom, fill your heart with peace, and inspire you as you continue to serve God and humanity.”
