The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike while welcoming them to his office said that given the pivotal role they play and being closer to the grassroots, the ministry would continue to give them the opportunity to be part of primary healthcare services delivery in the state.

“With the continuous visitations I have made to some of our facilities in the local government, I have seen that the supervisors are hard-working and highly indispensable in grassroots healthcare services delivery of the state; you are very instrumental in achieving positive results in the primary healthcare services delivery of the LGAs and we will continue to carry you along.

“We will introduce various health projects that will enable you to contribute to the healthcare development in Anambra, and I plead with you to be more proactive in the discharge of your duties so as to achieve more results.’’

In their separate contributions, the Committee Chairman, Mr. Ikechukwu Jonn, popularly known as ‘the Lion’, from Oyi LGA and his colleague from Anaocha LGA, Mr. Kene Ezejelue commended the state government for the construction of the roads networks that led into their separate local government headquarters.
