Mayor, Dunukofia Local Government Area (LGA), Barr. Chijioke Ozumba, has congratulated the Muslim faithful in the Area at this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival.
The Mayor, in his goodwill message described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred season that reflects the virtues of faith, sacrifice, obedience, love, and compassion while urging Muslims and all residents of the LGA to continue promoting peaceful coexistence, unity, tolerance, and generosity within the society.
He prayed that the blessings of the season would bring joy, peace, progress, and prosperity to every family in Dunukofia and Nigeria at large.
Barr. Ozumba reitterated his administration’s commitment to sustaining harmony, inclusiveness, and people-oriented governance across the LGA and wished all Muslim faithful a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration.
“Dunukofia is a peaceful place, I urge everybody who by a reason or another found themselves living here to dwell peacefully with love and respect for others,” he said.
