The Mayor of Nnewi North, Hon. Echezona Anazodo, has made a donation of an operational vehicle to the Decongestion Unit, effective with the objective of augmenting traffic management and enhancing road safety within the locality. The vehicle is anticipated to substantially enhance the unit’s capacity to manage traffic congestion, enforce extant traffic regulations, and ensure an uninterrupted flow of vehicular traffic in Nnewi North.
Hon. Anazodo underscored the significance of the donation, noting that it would empower the unit to execute its responsibilities efficiently, mitigate traffic congestion, and enhance overall security within the locality.
The Commander of the Decongestion Unit, Mr. Okwuchukwu Kizito Nnetu, expressed gratitude for the donation, assuring that the vehicle would be deployed to maximum effect in serving the community. According to Mr. Nnetu, the gesture highlights Hon. Anazodo’s determination to upgrade infrastructure and public services in Nnewi North, reconfirming his pledge to maintain seamless traffic circulation across the metropolis.
