The Ministry of Health has extended warm Easter greetings to the people of the state and beyond, emphasizing the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a symbol of hope, life, and light.
In a statement, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, and Supervising Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Pharm (Dr)Oby Uchegbo urged citizens to adopt the values of love, sacrifice, compassion, and selflessness that Easter represents.
These virtues are crucial in strengthening the healthcare system and promoting public health, the statement noted.
Pharm Uchegbo encouraged citizens to prioritize their health by adopting healthy lifestyles, supporting one another, and adhering to public health guidelines. “A healthy population remains the foundation of a prosperous society”.
She also wished citizens peace, strength, and renewed hope, praying that the joy of the risen Christ would bring a brighter future to all.
