The Chairman, Anambra State Traditional Rulers’ Council, (ASTRC) and The Traditional Ruler of Obosi, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, has urged Ndi Anambra to embrace hard work, resilience and collective effort to accelerate development in the state.
Iweka made the call at the state’s celebration of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary at Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka.
He urged Ndi Anambra to support government development initiatives at all levels, saying collective efforts were necessary to achieve common goals.
“We see hope. All hands must be on deck. Nigerians should support the government blueprints and push to achieve the common goals,” he said.

The traditional ruler also urged residents to shun social vices and contribute to making the state safe, secure and conducive for all.
He said the state government was working to improve the environment and create opportunities for residents to thrive.
Iweka called for sustained cooperation between the people and government to support ongoing development efforts in the state.
