High Chief Dr. Christopher Ndubuisi, KSJI, popularly known as Ikenga Umuawulu, has joined the people of Omor Kingdom to celebrate the Iwa Ji Festival of the traditional ruler, His Royal Highness, Igwe Chris Oranu Chidiume, Eze Igbulube.
Dr. Ndubuisi attended the colourful celebration on Aug. 22 alongside his elder brother and mentor, High Chief Sir Emmanuel Ndubuisi, Ukpaka na Agba na Udu Mmiri.
He described Iwa Ji as a cherished tradition that promotes gratitude, unity and appreciation for the people’s labour and the blessings of the land.
He urged traditional institutions and communities to use cultural festivals to strengthen peace, unity and communal development.
The duo prayed for wisdom, good health and longevity for Igwe Chidiume, while wishing the people of Omor continued peace, prosperity and abundance.
