The Anambra State Hospital Administrator, Dr. Frank Ifeanaeme, on June 24, paid an unscheduled visit to General Hospital, Nnobi, to assess staff performance and ensure compliance with workplace regulations.
During the inspection, Dr. Ifeanaeme expressed satisfaction that members of staff were at their various duty posts and diligently carrying out their assigned responsibilities.
However, he observed that some staff members were not wearing their official identification tags as required by hospital regulations.

The Hospital Administrator stressed the importance of wearing identification tags while on duty, noting that they promote accountability, professionalism, and easy identification by patients and visitors.
Dr. Ifeanaeme warned that staff who violate the directive would face disciplinary measures. He disclosed that those found without their identification tags during the inspection would be issued queries to serve as a deterrent to others.
He urged all healthcare workers to adhere strictly to established rules and regulations, emphasizing that discipline and professionalism remain essential to effective healthcare service delivery.
The inspection forms part of ongoing efforts by the hospital management to strengthen service delivery, enhance staff accountability, and maintain high standards across healthcare facilities in the state.
