The Mayor of Nnewi North LGA, Hon. Echezona Anazodo, alongside the President-General of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, Hon. Prince Jude Osumuo, is set to pay an official visit to the Lagos Branch of the Nnewi United Development Association (NUDA). This forms part of his administration’s diaspora partnership drive aimed at sustaining the development of Nnewi North.
The high-level engagement is scheduled for June 21, at Early Spring School, Emma Oji Street, Divine Estate, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State, beginning at 2:00 PM prompt.
According to the organisers, the visit aligns with Hon. Anazodo’s commitment to building stronger ties with Nnewi indigenes in the diaspora, and harnessing their expertise, investments, and goodwill for the socio-economic transformation of Nnewi North LGA.
The mayor is expected to brief members of NUDA Lagos on key projects, security initiatives, and investment opportunities in Nnewi North, while seeking strategic collaboration with the association on community development, youth empowerment, and infrastructure.
The Chairman of NUDA Lagos, Chief Nnamdi Ejefobiri, and the Leader, Prince Sir Eke Obi, have called on all Nnewi sons and daughters in Lagos to attend the historic meeting, describing it as a critical step towards unifying efforts for a progressive Nnewi North.
