The Anambra State Hospital Administrator, Dr. Frank Ifeanaeme, has warned health workers against coming late to work following Governor Soludo’s surprise visit to Jerome Udorji Secretariat, Awka.
Dr. Ifeanaeme announced daily on-the-spot checks to monitor workers’ attendance and duty compliance.
He emphasized the importance of being available, especially on Mondays, as sit-at-home is no longer acceptable in the state.
Dr. Ifeanaeme noted that the government is passionate about the health of the people, hence the need for attending to patients promptly.
He urged doctors, nurses, and other hospital workers to diagnose, treat, prescribe medications, maintain accurate patient records, and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
He also called for collaboration among workers for quality healthcare service delivery to the masses.
