Anambra State Accountant General’s Report

The Accountant General’s report, together with Financial Statements, provides records of all the financial activities of the Anambra State Government for the year in focus and the position of its financing at the end of the year. The report reviews the financial efforts and outcomes of the Anambra State Government in its attempts to match the objectives of financial management with the goals of governance. These publications are expected to serve the following purposes:

(a) Proper documentary evidence of transparency in the government financial administration;
(b) A permanent record of published accounts as an instrument of accountability;
(c) Useful, concise, and easy-to-digest information for the use of external users; and
(d) A means of acquainting the public with the State Government’s financial operations and the challenges faced in discharging its financial responsibilities.
