Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim

Deputy Governor

Dr. Gilbert Onyekachukwu Ibezim is a Nigerian politician and medical doctor. He assumed office as the current Deputy Governor of Anambra State since 17 March 2022.

Dr. Ibezim and Professor. Soludo won the 2021 Anambra State gubernatorial elections on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

The Deputy Governor also happens to be a brother to the Anglican bishop of the Diocese on the Niger, Archbishop Alexander Ibezim.
