The Diocese on the Niger has joined the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, in celebrating Mrs. Angela E. Ndukuba, wife of the Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Most Rev. Henry C. Ndukuba, on her birthday.
In a goodwill message, the Diocese described Mrs. Ndukuba as a woman of grace, wisdom and steadfast christian service, whose warmth and commitment have earned her affection and respect across the Anglican Communion.
The diocese expressed gratitude to God for her life and the years of service she has devoted to her family, the church and the wider christian community.
It celebrated her as “Mama Nigeria,” highlighting her calm disposition, wise counsel and nurturing influence, which it said have made her a source of encouragement to women, families and members of the church in different parts of the country.
According to the Diocese, Mrs. Ndukuba’s role extends beyond being the wife of the Primate, as she has consistently supported the ministry of her husband while contributing meaningfully to the life and mission of the Church.
The diocese commended her for the dignity, humility and composure with which she has carried out her responsibilities, describing her life as an example of faithful service and christian motherhood.
It prayed that God would continue to strengthen and preserve her, grant her peace and sound health, and bless her with many more fruitful years in the service of God and humanity.
The Diocese on the Niger said her birthday provided an opportunity to appreciate her life, celebrate her contributions and acknowledge the positive influence she continues to have within the Church.
“From all of us at the Diocese on the Niger, happy birthday, Mama Nigeria. We celebrate you,” the Diocese said.
