The Anambra State Commissioner for Commerce, Hon. Nomso Chukwuma Ebonwu, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Ministry to fostering meaningful youth participation, strategic partnerships and opportunities that can contribute to the economic development of the state.

The commissioner stated this when the State Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Nonso Nwaebili, Esq., paid him a familiarization visit at his office in Awka on Sept. 2.

Hon. Ebonwu described the visit as an important platform for building stronger relationships, exchanging ideas and identifying areas of collaboration that could advance the interests of young people and contribute to the growth of Anambra’s commerce sector.

He emphasised the importance of engaging the youth in areas such as entrepreneurship, commerce and economic empowerment, noting that young people remain critical stakeholders in the state’s development.

The commissioner welcomed continued dialogue and constructive partnerships with youth leaders and other relevant stakeholders, stressing that inclusive engagement is essential to achieving sustainable economic growth.

In his remarks, Nonso Nwaebili, Esq., expressed appreciation to the commissioner for the warm reception, describing the visit as an opportunity to establish a stronger relationship and explore areas of mutual interest.

The meeting ended on a cordial note, with both parties expressing optimism about deeper engagement and collaboration in the interest of Ndi Anambra.
