The Executive Secretary of the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA), Dr. Augustine Ezeka, on June 30, paid a courtesy and collaboration visit to the Chief Medical Director of Graceland International Hospital, Awka, Dr. Chukwuemeka Jude Ofojebe, at the hospital premises.

The visit was aimed at exploring a strategic partnership between ASHIA and Graceland International Hospital to strengthen healthcare service delivery and expand access to quality medical care for health insurance enrollees across Anambra State.

Speaking during the meeting, Dr. Ezeka said ASHIA remains committed to building strong partnerships with reputable healthcare providers to improve service quality, increase access to healthcare, and ensure enrollees receive timely and efficient medical attention.

He noted that the agency is continuously seeking collaborations that align with its mandate of achieving universal health coverage, stressing that quality healthcare remains a priority under the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Responding, the Chief Medical Director of Graceland International Hospital, Dr. Chukwuemeka Jude Ofojebe, appreciated the visit and commended ASHIA’s efforts toward improving healthcare access through health insurance and strategic stakeholder engagement.

Dr. Ofojebe expressed the hospital’s readiness to collaborate with ASHIA, assuring that Graceland International Hospital will continue to uphold high standards of patient care while supporting initiatives that improve the health and well-being of Anambra residents.
