Anambra State House of Assembly hopeful, Hon. Felix Ikechi, has commended the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, for the recent appointment of key professionals to head major healthcare institutions across the state.
In a statement issued on today, Ikechi described the appointments of Dr. Ezeaka Augustine Uwaeme, Dr. Obianuju Chinelo Okoye, and Dr. Hillary Nkem Okeke as a strategic step toward strengthening the healthcare delivery system in Anambra State, noting that the governor’s decision reflects a commitment to merit, competence, and the continued reform of the state’s health sector.
According to Ikechi, the choice of experienced and qualified individuals to oversee critical healthcare institutions will enhance service delivery, improve patient outcomes, and boost public confidence in the state’s medical infrastructure.
“Governor Soludo has once again demonstrated purposeful leadership by placing competent hands in positions that directly impact the health and well-being of ndi Anambra.
”These appointments are not only timely but also critical to strengthening our healthcare system. I am confident that the appointees will bring professionalism, innovation, and a renewed sense of duty to their respective offices.” Ikechi added
The former Anambra West Mayor further emphasized that effective leadership in the health sector remains essential to achieving sustainable development and ensuring the well-being of citizens.
He further praised Governor for prioritizing reforms that directly affect the lives of Ndị Anambra, particularly in the area of healthcare, expressing optimism that the newly appointed heads would justify the confidence reposed in them.
Ikechi also urged the appointees to uphold the highest standards of service delivery.
“The expectations of Ndi Anambra are high, and rightly so. I encourage the appointees to see this as a call to serve with integrity, dedication, and excellence in order to deliver quality and accessible healthcare to all,” he added.
The appointments are part of ongoing efforts by the Anambra State Government to reposition key sectors and ensure efficient service delivery through capable leadership.
