Stakeholders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Idemili North Local Government Area have declared their unwavering support for Hon. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo as the party’s candidate for the Anambra Central Senatorial District.
The endorsement was made during a consultative visit by Hon. Nwankwo to the Idemili North LGA Secretariat, Ogidi, where party leaders described him as the most suitable candidate to represent Anambra Central in the Red Chamber under the APGA platform.
In separate remarks, the Mayor of Idemili North, Hon. Stanley Nkwoka; the APGA Local Government Chairman, Hon. Lemmy Ekwo; and Chief Emma lauded Nwankwo’s antecedents in philanthropy, human capital development, and infrastructural interventions. They urged party members to vote for him during both the party primaries and the general election, expressing confidence that he would deliver greater dividends of democracy as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Earlier, Hon. Dozie Nwankwo expressed gratitude to the stakeholders for their solidarity and support. He assured them of his preparedness to represent Anambra Central and pledged not to neglect the grassroots upon assumption of office.
“I am fully prepared for the Anambra Central Senatorial contest. Together as party members, we shall be victorious. We delivered victory for Governor Soludo during the gubernatorial election, and we shall replicate that success in the Senatorial, House of Representatives, and State Assembly elections. I am going to Abuja to ensure that the dividends of democracy due to Anambra Central Senatorial District reach our people at the grassroots,” Nwankwo stated.
