The Anambra West All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Campaign LGA has released its official ward-to-ward campaign timetable ahead of the forthcoming Anambra State Local Government Election, reaffirming its commitment to grassroots engagement and peaceful participation throughout the campaign period.
According to the campaign schedule released on August 4, the exercise will be conducted across the three major zones in Anambra West Local Government Area(LGA), providing party leaders and candidates with the opportunity to interact directly with residents and present their programmes.
The campaign will commence on August 6 in the Igala Zone, covering Olumbanasa Ward I, Olumbanasa Ward II and Nzam, with activities scheduled to run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The second phase is slated for August 14 in the Ezi-Anam Zone, where campaign activities will hold in Ezi Anam Ward, Oroma Etiti and Umuenwelum Anam.
The final phase of the campaign will take place on August 20 in the Ifite Anam Zone, covering Umueze Anam I, Umueze Anam II, Umuoba Anam and Ifite Anam.
The LGA stated that campaign activities will be held at designated village squares, creating opportunities for residents of Anambra West to engage directly with party leaders and candidates, as well as hear their plans for the development of the LGA.
The timetable was endorsed by the Campaign Chairman, Dr. Chinedu Ekwealor, and the Secretary, Mrs. Chinyere Monya, who called on party faithful, supporters and residents to participate peacefully and responsibly throughout the campaign.
According to the them, the ward-to-ward campaign is designed to deepen grassroots mobilisation, strengthen voter engagement and foster closer interaction between candidates and the electorate ahead of the local government election.
They expressed confidence that the campaign would consolidate APGA’s grassroots presence while promoting a peaceful, issue based electoral process across Anambra West.
