The Anambra State Police Command is convening a high-level security meeting at the Command Headquarters, involving senior officers and tactical commanders directly involved in the operational planning for the forthcoming second-term inauguration of the Anambra State Government.
According to an official statement issued in Awka by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the meeting, which is being held in a closed-door session, is centred on evaluating and finalizing the operational strategies as outlined in the Police Operation Order, with the objective of ensuring thorough security coverage throughout the inauguration ceremony and its associated events.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, emphasized the need for maximum vigilance, strengthened inter-agency collaboration, and a peaceful and secure environment for residents, dignitaries, and visitors expected to attend the event.
