MARKET LEADER HAILS SOLUDO’S SECOND-TERM INAUGURATION, APPLAUDS INFRASTRUCTURE, SECURITY AND ECONOMIC REFORMS

The Chairman, Green Seed Market Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State Chief Chijioke Okpala, has congratulated the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on his second-term inauguration, describing the development as a renewed mandate for progressive leadership and sustainable development in the state.

In a congratulatory message issued by Chief Okpala, the market leadership said the governor’s re-election reflects the overwhelming confidence Ndi Anambra have in his vision for economic transformation and inclusive governance.

The chairman noted that the electoral victory recorded across the 21 Local Government Areas of the state, with a symbolic 73 percent of the votes cast, demonstrates a collective endorsement of the governor’s policies and development agenda.

According to him, the first term of the Soludo administration laid a strong foundation for infrastructural growth, institutional reforms and economic revitalisation, positioning Anambra as one of the fastest-growing states in Nigeria.

He particularly commended the state government for sustaining operations and improving standards at the Chinua Achebe International Cargo Airport, Umueri, noting that the facility has strengthened Anambra’s status as a strategic commercial and logistics hub in the South-East.

Chief Okpala further praised the government for improving connectivity to the airport through the construction of modern road networks linking Umueri and surrounding communities to major commercial centres across the state.

He added that the governor’s urban renewal initiatives, expansive road construction projects and major infrastructure developments across various towns have significantly enhanced economic activities and improved the business climate for traders and investors.

The chairman also acknowledged the administration’s efforts in strengthening security architecture across the state, as well as key social programmes in healthcare and community development.

He highlighted projects such as the ongoing urban transformation efforts and the construction of the flyover at Ekwulobia as evidence of a leadership committed to long-term growth and modernization.

While congratulating the governor on the commencement of another four-year term, the traders’ leadership urged the people of Anambra State to continue supporting the administration to enable it to consolidate on the gains already recorded.

Chief Okpala expressed confidence that the governor’s second tenure would usher in deeper reforms, stronger economic opportunities and greater prosperity for the people of the state.
