The Anambra State Ministry of Information is set to hold a mandatory in house training for 20 selected Information Officers in a bid to improve service delivery and modernize communication structures across the state.
This is contained in a notice signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Obiageli Uchebo on May 11 at the Ministry of Information and Value Reformation, Awka.
The training is slated to hold on May 13, 2026, at 10:am in the Situation Room of the Ministry.
The exercise is aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and enhancing officers’ competencies in real time news reporting, field information gathering, script writing and editing, voice-over and presentation skills, graphic content coordination, and digital communication workflow.
According to the notice, attendance is strictly mandatory for trainees. The Ministry noted that the training will play a critical role in future departmental assignments and operational deployments. Trainees are expected to be punctual, participate fully, and come prepared for practical exercises and simulations.
The Ministry also warned that failure to attend without official approval may be treated as non-compliance with official directives.
