A Chieftain and Board of Trustees member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Ogilisi Igbo, has hailed the newly nominated Commissioners of the Anambra State Government, describing the team assembled by Governor Chukwuma Soludo as a “golden cabinet” capable of driving unprecedented development across the state.

Reacting to the list of commissioner nominees submitted to the Anambra State House of Assembly, Ogilisi Igbo said the governor demonstrated wisdom, foresight, and commitment to excellence in selecting individuals with proven competence, integrity, and experience.

According to him, the calibre of the nominees reflects Governor Soludo’s determination to sustain and deepen his administration’s transformation agenda in Anambra State.

The APGA stalwart maintained that the ruling party has consistently delivered democratic dividends to Ndị Anambra through successive administrations, insisting that APGA’s developmental record in the state remains unmatched.

He commended former APGA Governors, including Peter Obi, Virginia Etiaba, and Willie Obiano for laying solid foundations for the state’s growth, while noting that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has taken governance to an even greater level.

Ogilisi Igbo recalled that he had earlier predicted that Soludo’s emergence as governor would usher in a new era of transformation in Anambra, citing the governor’s intellectual background and leadership capacity.

“When Soludo came on board, I said that once an OAU-trained scholar mounted the stage, great things would begin to happen in Anambra. Today, the evidence is everywhere. Soludo himself said Ndị Anambra have not seen anything yet, and I believe him.”

He expressed confidence that the incoming commissioners would strengthen the administration’s efforts in infrastructure, economic expansion, security, and efficient service delivery.

The APGA Board of Trustees member also called on members of the State House of Assembly and the people of Anambra State to support the nominees, describing them as men and women of proven integrity who are prepared to contribute meaningfully to the continued progress of the state.
