The Anambra State Government has called for the submission of expressions of interest from qualified candidates for appointment to the position of Permanent Secretary in the state public service.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo approved the exercise, according to a circular issued and signed by the Head of Service, Mrs. Ngozi Iwouno, Esq.
The circular stated that the position is open to confirmed civil servants within the directorate cadre, specifically officers on the rank of Deputy Director or Director.
It further noted that applicants must have a minimum of two years of service remaining before reaching the mandatory retirement age.

Qualified officers outside the Anambra State Civil Service are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the stipulated requirements.
Interested applicants are required to visit the state government’s official website to complete, print, and submit the expression of interest form to the Office of the Head of Service on or before April 8, 2026.
The call for applications is aimed at filling vacancies created by the retirement of some Permanent Secretaries and ensuring continuity and efficiency in service delivery across the state.
