DR. OKEKE URGES SOLUDO’S REDOUBLED EFFORTS TO SHAME CRITICS

By Michael Ezenwata

A former Awka Zonal Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association, Dr. Izuchukwu Okeke has enjoined Governor Chukwuma Soludo to finetune his security strategies to prove wrong people who oppose his purposeful administration.

Dr. Okeke in a press statement in Awka, tasked the governor to interrogate the alleged abuse of power wielded by some members of the “Agunaechemba’ security operatives with a view to using the big stick against those found culpable.

The medical expert admitting that the governor has performed creditably in office, expressed belief that his good works will campaign for him.

Dr. Okeke okayed the institution of the Solution Fun City as a venture that has some positive health benefits in the reduction of stress, weight reduction mechanism, control of high blood pressure and diabetes.

Ahead of the November 8th governorship election in the state, the former NMA boss, called on the electoral umpire INEC, to ensure that no political party is allowed to rig the election.

He urged the federal government not to interfere in the electoral process by trying to impose any candidate against the wish of the Anambra electorate.

Dr. Okeke further advocated the practice of true democracy in Nigeria and the relegation of violence to the background in election matters.
