‎The Managing Director of the Anambra State ICT Agency, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, CFA, has restated his commitment to advancing Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s agenda of building a liveable and prosperous smart megacity through technology-driven governance and digital innovation.
‎
‎Following his reappointment, Agbata described the development as a humbling opportunity to continue serving the people of Anambra State. In a statement, he expressed gratitude to Governor Soludo for the confidence reposed in his leadership and for the administration’s sustained support for the state’s digital transformation agenda.
‎
‎“I have had the privilege of working closely with Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, whose vision for a liveable and prosperous smart megacity continues to shape the trajectory of Anambra State,” he said.
‎
‎Agbata noted that the progress achieved over the past four years has established a solid foundation for the next phase of the state’s digital transformation. He stated that the Agency would remain focused on deepening digital adoption, strengthening governance through technology, expanding opportunities for young people, and developing systems that enhance service delivery to Ndi Anambra.

‎Under his leadership, the ICT Agency has implemented several initiatives to promote innovation, increase digital adoption, support the technology ecosystem, and improve government service delivery across the state. His reappointment is expected to further consolidate Anambra’s emergence as one of Nigeria’s leading hubs for technology and innovation.
